If you’re planning a wedding, we have special packages for couples about to share that First Dance together. We will help you with all aspects of your Wedding First Dance including partnership connection, step patterns, and choreography.
If you are taking private lessons in addition to group classes, you have the ability to take what you learn in group class and polish it further, maximizing the value of the group class. You’ll receive personalized feedback and encouragement during your lesson while you work at your own pace. Students taking both private and group lessons learn much faster and retain much more than students taking either alone.
We have dance instructors available for private lessons seven days a week. With different package programs to choose from, we can also tailor a program that meets your needs.

When should we start our dance lessons?
Most couples start 3–6 months before the wedding, especially if you want a choreographed routine. Short on time? We can still create something beautiful even if your date is just weeks away.
How long should our first dance be?
We recommend around 1½ to 3 minutes. It feels special without dragging on. If your song is longer, we’ll trim or blend it seamlessly.
What if we’ve never danced before?
Perfect — most of our couples are beginners! We teach step by step with patience and humor. No pressure, no judgment — just a relaxed, enjoyable experience.
Can we use any song we want?
Absolutely. From classic ballads to country or upbeat tracks, we’ll match the style to your personalities. Need ideas? We’ll help you choose a song that feels right and fits your timeline.
What should we wear for lessons?
Wear comfy clothes and shoes you can move in. As the big day approaches, we’ll do a dress rehearsal so you can try your wedding shoes and consider your gown length or suit jacket.
Can you help with parent dances too?
Yes! We love creating short, heartfelt father–daughter and mother–son dances that are easy to follow and full of emotion. We can coordinate timing with your DJ, too.
How much space do we need at the venue?
A typical wedding dance floor works great — 10×10 ft or larger is ideal. If space is smaller, we’ll tailor the choreography to feel natural and comfortable.

- “All eyes will be on us.” We center the dance around your connection so you forget about the crowd. You’ll feel present, calm, and confident.
- “What if we mess up?” We build in gentle “recovery” options and transitions, so if you blank for a moment, you keep flowing — and no one notices.
- “We have two left feet.” Beginners are our specialty! We choose simple, flattering steps that look great and feel natural.
- “My dress/shoes might trip me up.” We plan for trains, veils, and heels. Later lessons include wardrobe checks and safe, graceful movement tweaks.
